New channels. Same controls.
Eddy brings learning to Slack, Teams, text and voice without opening new doors. It runs on Continu’s audited infrastructure, respects every permission you already set, and only goes where you turn it on.
Security principles
Nothing is on until you turn it on
Every channel and capability is switched on per company and per audience. Voice and messaging stay off until an admin opts in.
Answers respect permissions
Eddy retrieves only content the person asking is allowed to see, using the same Smart Segmentation™ rules as the rest of Continu.
Closed loop, cited answers
Eddy answers from your approved sources and shows where each answer came from. Your content and data are never shared publicly.
Audited infrastructure
Eddy runs inside Continu, which is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant. Your security team reviews one platform, not a new one.
Identity you already trust
People sign in through your existing Continu setup, including SSO. On messaging channels they are verified by phone number before Eddy answers.
Voice with a text record
Voice conversations are kept as text transcripts, like any other Eddy conversation, so there is always a reviewable record.
Questions we get asked.
Which third parties are involved in voice and messaging?
Voice and messaging use specialist providers for speech and message delivery. Each one goes through our security review before any customer data reaches it, and is added to our subprocessor list with notice to customers before the channel is turned on for them.
Is our content used to train public AI models?
No. Eddy answers from your approved content inside your Continu instance. It is not shared publicly.
Can we limit Eddy to some audiences?
Yes. You choose which audiences can use Eddy and on which channels. For example, Slack for employees and the Chrome extension for customers, with messaging off entirely.
Where can our security team get documentation?
Our team shares the SOC 2 Type II report, data-flow details and questionnaire answers on request. Start with continu.com/security or ask during your lab kickoff.
Help build the agent your people will actually use.
We are piloting voice, iMessage and agentic actions with a small group of companies before general release. Lab members get early access, a direct line to the team building Eddy, and a real say in what ships next.
